CLARINETS carry the notes between the Flute's high pitches
and the lower Saxophone. The fingering and mouthpiece are similar to the Sax, so many people prefer to start with the clarinet
first. It is also less expensive, requires smaller fingers, and is lighter to carry than the popular Sax. Both require reeds
on the mouthpiece, which we carry, and all require proper cleaning after use to protect the pads from too much saliva. We'll
show you how it's done when you get your instrument from us. Most beginner clarinets are made out of a hard plastic
resonite. Those made out of Grenadilla Wood are more expensive ane are usually bought by the more serious musicians.
